Theatre for one / Christine Jones + LOT-EK
This is a theater for one actor and one audience member. Inspired by small one-to-one spaces - such as the confessional or the sex peep-booth - Theater for One explores the intense emotion of live theater through the direct and intimate one-to-one interaction of actor and audience. It uses the ‘road-box’ technology to configure a system where connected and detachable units form the theater black box, allowing for continuous transformability, interchangeability and expansion.
Se trata de un teatro para un actor y una persona como público. Inspirado por los pequeños espacios de ‘uno a uno’ - como los confesionarios o los stands de peep-show - Theater for one explora la intensa emoción del teatro en vivo a través de una interacción directa e íntima del actor y la audiencia. Se utiliza la tecnología de la “caja móvil” para configurar un sistema en el que las unidades conectadas y desmontables forman la caja negra del teatro, lo que permite la transformabilidad continua, la intercambiabilidad y la expansión.
